ÉuCuE's 16th annual series of ea/cm/mst concerts in 1997-98 featured works selected by more than 20 ea/cm/mst practioners from around the world. The curators (listed below) were invited to create a half program of works to be presented in the Concordia University Concert Hall using the ÉuCuE 18 channel sound projection system.
 
The concert dates were:
Oct 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 (Tue thru Sat)
Nov 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 (SEAMUS week) (Tue thru Sat)
Feb 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (Tue thru Sat)

 

 
There was an additional special series of inter-University student concerts, MEDUSA, in mid-May.
 
 
Curators, many of whom planned on attending, came from 8 countries and included:
Wende Bartley, Ian Chuprun, Yves Daoust, alcides lanza, Emanuel Madan, Andra McCartney, Claude Schryer, Barry Truax (Canada);
 
Jon Appleton, Jim Beauchamp, Steve Beck, Mara Helmuth, Elizabeth Henkel-Turner, Paul Koonce, Charles Mason, Anna Rubin, Barry Schrader, Scott Wyatt (USA);
 
Stephen Arnold, Jonty Harrison, Adrian Moore, Pete Stollery (UK);
 
Peter Castine, Folkmar Hein (Germany); Ben Thigpen (France);
 
Jorgen Teller (Denmark); Igor Lintz-Maues (Austria).
 
Works presented included those by many of the invited curators, and
also Per Buhl Acs, Lars Gunnar Bodin, Natalia Gaviola, Gilles Gobeil, Judy
Klein, Sue McGowan, Bonnie Miksch, Bruce Pennycook, Scott Wilson ...

Berlin / Birmingham -- The Voice on Tape
Works on tape, 2 and 4 channels, by Judy Kleine, Takehito Shimazu, Peter Castine and others. Peter Castine (Berlin) and Jonty Harrison (Birmingham, UK) curators.
 Wednesday, Feb 11
Focus Vienna / Montreal
Curated by Igor Lintz-Maues (Vienna) and Yves Daoust (Montreal), works by Christian Teuscher, Andreas Weixler, Katharina Klement, Igor Lintz-Maues, Bernd Hannes Sollfelner, AndrÈ Ruschkowski, Yves Daoust, Richard Loiselle and Joseph Hyde. Yves Daoust will present the last three works.

Women in Electroacoustics
With the presence of curators Wende Bartley (Toronto) and Anna Rubin (Princeton), and composer Laurie Hollander (Princeton): works by Alicyn Warren, Katherine Norman, Robert Carol, Anna Rubin and Laurie Hollander, Mary Lou Newmark, Sergio Barroso, Evelyne Ficarra and Wende Bartley.
